“For the public benefit, to advance the education of and to relieve the disability of blind and visually impaired members of the public studying or working in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by:

  1.  providing or supporting technology to assist blind and visually impaired members of the public accessing STEM resources which are not normally provided or supported by educational institutions, employers and other charities/organisations;
  2. providing consultancy and training to educational institutions and employers so that they can use technology to assist the blind and visually impaired members of the public access STEM resources; and
  3.           undertaking and supporting research into factors that contribute to the accessibility of STEM resources by blind and visually impaired members of the public.”
